YOGA

I believe that practicing yoga helps us to deal better with our daily lives. It increases energy, strength, flexibility and balance for the body and increases calmness and the ability to deal with stress for the mind.


My basic teacher training was in Hatha yoga, but I have since trained extensively with many teachers in traditions including Iyenga yoga and Scaravelli yoga. I incorporate elements of these, and much more into my classes. 


My yoga classes are usually a mixture of complete beginners and more experienced yoga practitioners. With small class sizes I ensure that my students are doing the level of posture which is right for them. You will work your muscles, internal organs and nervous system while calming your mind, balancing hormones and developing good posture. At the end of the class you should feel a release of stress and tension from the mind and the body
